I loved your gun system so much Lord Groovy that I incorperated it into my USAF Phoebe Model, except I made it alittle more like my models.

Well RJB used track type things on Excaliber, seems like a common thread of design. Multibarrelled turreted rail guns, with the ability to move around the ship's external hull. should rail guns be manned? Or left on some kind of advanced targetting system?

How is that resting a case, fighters are manned in space...i mean as in a cockpit with rail gun attached, you can beam the men in if need be.

Fist of, fighters are quite ponless unless their FTL capable bombers.

Second off, a human can't guid a turet accuratly enpugh in space combat, chances are he won't even see the enemy ship, the distances are too great.

Fighters are not pointless, they are one of the most useful assets. I understand that the men might not be able to see the targets though.

Well in any case I like my unmanned defense turret. I like fighters too, They may be more practical in an atmosphere but they still hold a role in space combat.
