Great Design...
You've really shown that you can make a stargate ship that doesn't conform to the previous ships.
I like the free thinking here.
Note: I would work on the Hardpointing of those Turrets. create some orthographic views and draw up hard points by means of list to address things like sensor, weapons, thrusters, vents, airlocks, and comm systems. (I say this because I personally don't think on the nose is of the ship is a good location for this many turrets. For this amount of ordinance I'd recommend a larger weapon and spreading out the turrets for point defense.)

ok first off i agree with Saquist on the # of guns on the front of the ship. my suggestion would be to move some of them to the outer edges of the nose to increase coverage and have them not one massive target area.
second. download podium and pm me and ill tell you my serial so that you can do 3d renders instead of 2d pics.
third its looking great keep practicing and maybe try to smooth out some of those rough edges. doesnt have to be all of them just some. cuz it looks kinda angly(all sharp angles)

NOTE 1: ships not mine, just used to show size
NOTE 2: 304 is scaled at 500m long
NOTE 3: Battlestar variant is used to show immense BSG ship sizes (nice design though, again not mine)
