very nice Titan..... you got any stats on the ship?

I've started work on a new design today..... I was looking at the Armistice station from the BSG pilot and i thought that could make a good mini outpost/listening post.

Not done a render yet, but i've got some stats-

3-4 crew stationed on the outpost
Single GateJumper
two decks
Asgard shields, beaming tech and radar systems
Single set of Rings on lower deck
main hull-
20 foot high
80 foot long
40 foot wide

Single gantry that'll contain all the radar and comms systems
20 railguns

I have some stats,
its approx 45.5-46m long.
4 20mm Rail Guns
2 Energy cannons (forward mounted)
4 missile tubes
Two sub-light engines, Hyperdrive
the 5 'H' shape bits on the bottom are landing feet...

That's about it.

I designed it to go with a stat submission on the AU fleet, so I haven't thought much about my own stats apart from the basics.

Yay! we're gonna have a ship in the AU fleet with decent engines (something mcoy never seems to pull off no offence to him)

I really do like this ship.... Though i would change the window colourt to black personally.

If you'll notice...they have gotten better. The Abydos's are way better than the Aurora's.

MY ship would be an ancient warship but on this warship there would be 5 Zpms and 500000 drones to be fired form the ship.. There would also be 4 jumper lanuch bay each bay would include 60 jumpers.... The shields would be the latest Asgaud design and the weapons would be Also Asguad even though the ship is an Anceint warship cause when they had there 4 great civilation treat i would assume that they would share technology and make a combined warship....

I'm not happy with the engines though, I made a mess of them, if you look closely you can see that some of the spokes (not sure what to call them) overlap each other.

I have a question for you all,

I'm designing a Fleet Carrier, which is part open-deck. How would they stop the people/fighters/air being sucked into space with anything less than an Atlantis grade shield? is it possible at all?
I was thinking a dual layered shield, but it doesn't sound very safe to me.

That USAF Thrones is open deck and has shielding technology to keep in the atmosphere.

Well that's what I was thinking, one or two shields which are independent of the main shields should be enough. .

It would have to stay out of enemy weapons range though.
