Ok thats awesome, I love the engines and your lighting. The only bit of critisism I can think of is add more detail to the back, not the angines themselves but the parts around them if you see what i mean

the WIP was when the back end wasn't finished. They are finished in the final version though.

I use Maya. The material is phong, you make it 80% transparent. Then boost up the Ambiance. Then the special effects, which is basically telling it to glow. You set that up, and tell it to hide the source. So what ever is assigned that material just gives off the light, and the poly's are invisible.

Heres an idea i got from nich959, its a drop ship like his but a little differnet, i hope you dont mind nich959, if you want me to erase it i will but any way here it is

It kinda reminds me of mine I posted earlier.

If you set up a few more tiers around the ship, instead of it being flat it should put more detail.
