This ship is based off of a previous one I made. But since I havn't taken the time to master sketch-up I used paint for this ship. If there are any problems with it please point them out.
Spoiler:
DSC-314 Maat Mons-class
Type: Deep Space Infantry/Carrier support ship
Technology Base: Earth/Asgard/Goa’uld
Dimensions
-Width: 66 2/3m
-Length: 112m
-Height: 22 1/3m
Crew
Main: 100
Weapons
10x gauss guns
25x missile launchers
Support Craft
4x Cerberus tanks
Power plant(s)
2x Mk. III naquadah generators
Engines
4x Main engines
6x Hyperspace Flash Drives
Anti gravity wave generators
Defenses
Hull: Titanium/trinium Alloy with interwoven ceramic composites (energy/heat dispersion)
Asgard designed shields
Other Technologies
Asgard sensor tech
Asgard Beaming tech
Experimental Goa’uld cloaking device
Ships of the line
Maat Mons
(Five more under construction with others being debated)
History
The Maat Mons was built with multiple roles in mind since it was unclear where the majority of the battles would be fought. Due to its ability as a multi-role space craft it was shunted into a carrier escort role until a mission requiring its unique abilities comes up.

It holds one Draco (look at my older posts) and can carry multiple fighters (it will be used in Halo and therefore will carry Longswords, but F302s would work just fine)
I have yet to add the small details like the interior and the rail guns, plus the bottom of the back needs to be fixed up.
Let me know what you think.sigpic

Originally posted by ZakeDLooks good to me. Is there a difference between hyperspace flash drives and a normal hyperdrive? Also, I noticed it has tanks. I think thats the first time I've seen a ship that carries tanks. I think the ground troops would appreciate that.
And there is no difference between flash drives and other hyperdrives, I just call them that because the little blue things flash as the ship enters hyperspace.Last edited by Daryl Froggy; 29 November 2009, 08:29 AM.

Well..I'm making a model of that ship I posted a couple days ago that I think most people hated. It's half way done.
This is the ship I'm talking about

Story:
Designed and built in 2008, the Asis is a light battle cruiser. It's length is slightly less than half a mile. The weapons systems are standard of ships of the era and the Shaw Fujikawa slipspace drive was designed and built by engineers in Japan from Asgard designs. The Asis is one of a kind and the blueprints were lost when the Trust destroyed the factory in Canada where it was built shortly after the ship left for a test run on the sublight engines. The Asis currently flies under United States Air Force control in the Pegasus galaxy where it is used to transport supplies that will not fit through the Stargate.
EDIT: Just thought I'd add this pic of the Asis in-game on Halo:

WTFowned i like your ship. I really do, its VERY cool.
google sketch it really cool! i might finally after 6000000 years of trying our modeling programs be able to model my own ships...which ive been designed month ago..I just need to get to grips with it but it tons simpler and nicer than anything ive used before.
Any tips on creating models for space ships guys? in GSsigpic

I downloaded the freedom to look at it a little better. Why didn't you make the entire ship 3d instead of having it look 3d from only one view? It doesn't seem like you used the push/pull thing any. Did you try out the tutorial?
