        quick question though, is everything entered correctly? sudoku puzzles are usually set up symmetrically, this one isn't, look at boxes 4, 5, and 6... i think something might be missing there...... unless you've already added a few, if so, can you post the original puzzle?

            i'm just sayin' that when sudoku puzzles are made, the givens (starting numbers) are generally arranged in a symmetrical pattern so that if you were to rotate the puzzle 180 degrees the same squares are still filled in

            for example
            take this puzzle:

            [---][---][---] [TLC][DEX][---] [---][---][---]
            [---][MCK][---] [DAN][---][---] [DEX][---][---]

            [---][JCK][MCK] [DEX][---][DAN] [TEY][SHP][---]
            [---][---][---] [TEY][JCK][---] [---][SAM][---]

            [---][---][DAN] [---][---][DEX] [---][MCK][---]

            and now rotate it 180 degrees and you'll see what i mean....


            i'm not saying its true for every single puzzle, but it seems to be so

                no biggie, i was just wondering. i haven't seen an asymmetrical one, but then again there are 8 billion+ puzzles, so who knows... just thought i'd check.... i'll be back with some moves in a few
