*sorry, Katerine - I liked First Ones and Beast of Burden was okay but Enemy Mine bored me silly once Jack exited stage right. The 5 minutes of fun Jack and Daniel banter wasn't enough to overcome a lackluster script, terribly slow pacing and boring guest stars. *
I would have to agree that Enemy Mine is pretty boring, sorry Katerine. What does upset me is the votes for Resurrection. I thought that was a really moving episode, especially the end: "you couldn't help me...".
Dull, shippy, and committed further character assassination on somebody who was once a terrific and interesting character. What was there to like?
And I suppose I agree about Enemy Mine being dull. But at least everyone was in character, which is more than you can say for most of the rest of the season...
And it came to pass that in time the Great God Om spake unto Brutha, the Chosen One: "Psst!"
Jack: You're so shallow.
Daniel: Oh please. Teal'c is like one of the deepest people I know. He's so deep. Tell him how deep you are. You'll be lucky if you understand this.
Teal'c: My depth is immaterial to this conversation.
Daniel: Oh! You see?
Jack: (to Daniel) No more beer for you.
