Martouf was at a park setting near the base and Sam had overheard he was visiting but she felt nervous about seeing him again. Something about him intrigued her and something about him made her feel special.

Jack was at the base talking to Hammond about the latest mission and what had taken place and to prepare for the next mission unaware that Martouf was visiting.

Sam had gone for a job and she heard a familiar voice behind her "Samantha, good to see you again." "Martouf? What are you doing here?" she asked surprised. Martouf smiled at her "I thought I would visit you and see how you were doing." Sam smiled "Does anyone else know you are here?" Martouf shook his head "No, but I was planning on heading to the base so I could speak with the others. Do you wish you to join me?" Sam nodded "Yes I would like that very much."

Jack looked up and saw that Sam had walked in with Martouf and groaned silently under his breath, "Oh hello Marty, good to see you" he said trying to sound pleasant. Martouf chuckled "hello to you too."

"Could we have a word privately?" Jack asked him, "Certainly," and Jack led him towards the corridor. "Listen Marty, I know that Carter is someone special to you but I don't think she's really into you, 1. she's under a lot of stress these days because of the missions she has been on 2. Alien and human love relationships rarely seem to work out and 3. I think it's best if you just don't try to ruin the relationship you do have with her okay sport?"

Martouf chuckled "Very well, if you are trying to say that you and Samantha are in a relationship, then so be it, you have my blessing." Jack smirked and spoke nervously "Relationship? Who said anything about a relationship?"

The scenario is a good one, I could see it developing into Martouf/Lantash actually start nudging them together.

Daniel Jackson had been in his office area and was looking over some ancient manuscripts that been shipped to him from Ethiopia about a lost civilization believed to be to be in a remote area of the world. Daniel was looking over the charts and it just didn't add up and was going to ask Sam on her input but he remembered she was working in the lab with Dr. Janet Frasier.

At that moment Sam had accidentally spilled a chemical substance on her lab coat and was trying to take it off before it spread because it was deadly chemical of acid and a few alien semboites remains. Janet was trying to remove it as well because she knew that if it touched Sam's skin it would be hazardous to her and everyone else she came into contact with.

At that very moment Daniel was running in the lab just as Sam had removed her pants and shirt and she was in her underwear and was in the process of trying to put it into a sealed container that Janet held out for her. Daniel gasped "Oh I am so sorry, I didn't realize, I mean I wanted to ask you, I mean, you know what I am just going to go." he stammered and politely exited the lab.

Janet shook her head "Poor Daniel, he saw more than wanted to didn't he Sam?" Sam chuckled softly "At least we got the chemical substance off me, let's just hope it didn't spread to the rest of my clothes." she said grabbing a spare outfit from one of the lockers in the lab.

Daniel was at his desk and noticed that Jack and Sam seemed to be in a terrible mood. He noticed that Jack seemed to be distracted and Sam seemed to be busy with her work. Daniel knew that Teal'c had gone to see Rya'c and Hammond had gone off base for meeting with the Joint Chiefs.

Janet was with Cassandra so that meant poor Daniel had to do the job. Daniel sighed and took off his glasses, his eyes had been bothering him something fierce lately and he was plagued with terrible headaches. He secretly wondered if his eye-sight was growing worse or perhaps he just needed a stronger prescription.

After closing his eyes for a few moments of uninterrupted silence, Daniel grabbed his glasses from the desk and went to find Jack and Sam so they could perhaps do something fun and relaxing. As he walked he was surprised how quiet the base was without Teal'c, Hammond and of course Janet.

Daniel stopped by Sam's lab area and noticed that there were papers scattered everywhere and Sam's coffee cup was still untouched on the counter and she wasn't there!

"That's is odd, where could Sam be?" Daniel wondered as he poured out the cup of now cold coffee that Sam had left behind into the sink near the counter. Daniel walked towards Jack's office and noticed he wasn't there either, his coffee cup was empty, Jack's file folders were out of sight and there was a full bottle of beer on the desk.

"Okay, this is getting really freaky, where the hell are they?" Daniel said as he closed the door behind him of Jack's office. Daniel finally found Sam and Jack, they were in the mess hall having an arm wrestling contest.

"What the heck are you guys doing?" Daniel asked as he stormed in just as Jack's arm slammed against the table. Jack chuckled softly, "it's called arm-wrestling Daniel and you ought to try it sometime." Daniel shook his head, "Uh no thanks, I was wondering if either of you would want to go get a pizza and head out for bowling or something like that?"

Sam nodded, "that would be great, I've been beating the Colonel's butt for over an hour with this arm wresting and now my arm is killing me." Daniel chuckled, "okay then so let's get a move on shall we?" Jack laughed, "Sure what the heck?"
