Oh the subject of using feline characters {for example the Goddess Bastet; a woman with a cats head} Most of the time I've found Bastet to be a more; not controlling or powerhungry just, "hi there, I'm Bast, how do you do ?" type of person, like a president or something, not someone wanting to run a sector or the like

At best, perhaps. Both are warrior goddess' but Sekhmet is from Upper Egypt and Bast from Lower. The whole Egyptian Parthenon is a real mess however with relationships, who's on first, whats on second as SSD said. You don't just have Deities to consider, but all the separate aspects of the same god(dess) depending on the time of day or night, and then throw on the Greek influences as well...........
