That's a really interesting idea! I hope someone writes it!
I think I've actually read a fic that had a Tok'ra and a human switch. Actually, I think I've read two. One where it was the Tok'ra and a member of SG-1 (swtched with Ma'chello device), and the other was host and symbiote switched - that was Jacob and Selmak I think.
Was the Jacob - Selmak switch one humorous? And did Selmak become a human female while Jacob became her symbiote?
My ships: sigpic (Sam/Jack, Sam/Rodney, Sam/Martouf/Lantash, Sam/Cam, Sam/Daniel, Sam/Janet)
Sam/Jack, Sam/Cam, Sam/Daniel, Sam/Janet, and Sam/Rodney smilies made by the talented zuz - THANKS. Smilies merged into one sig by the awesome Nolamom - THANKS!
How much can one symbiote in human guise mess up the meaning of classified...

There are some fics that look at a mirror universe, or several different timelines, but I am not sure what you mean by inverted/mirror. Do you mean like in Star Trek? So SGC would be evil?
I have seen fics where
-Earth is subjugated by Ra (again or still). There are no Tok'ra
-SG-1 messes with some alien device which changes the timeline, and they go to several different Earths

How about the mind transfer device accidentally switches Daniel and Vala and they are stuck like that for several days.
Sounds simple...until problems like using the bathroom and taking a shower arise since you can't go several days without either.

I stay away from body swapping stuff for reasons like this. Doesn't matter what the gender of the person you switch with is, you always go into the awkward zone because they do eventually have to use the toilet.
I particularly enjoy this concept because with how much Daniel ranted about being stuck to Vala via bracelets, imagine his rants if he swaps bodies with her.

I was re-watching SG-1 S01E20 "Politics" and when Daniel said that they should all leave through the gate (after Teal'c said that he must leave through the gate, if they plan to bury it) that got me thinking - so my bunny is the following:
If Kinsey really managed to shut the SGC down (note: without the threat of the Goa'uld attack hanging over them, so Earth should not be destroyed) by becoming President (or another way, though the becoming president idea is better IMHO as after 4 years Kinsey should IMHO not be re-elected and another president would then re-start the SGC and open the gate again) and if SG-1 (and others - if they really planned to go out there to stay, I guess Jack and the others would recruit people willing to go along with them) left, how would they be doing? Would they fail (it's an option - though not a good one)? Would they thrive (better option!)? Would they shed some of their - often inconvenient morals (and become more like the NID - stealing technologies, weapons and supplies)?
AND:
How would they react to meeting a new stargate team after being on their own for years? Would they even want to go back? Would relationships have formed (that's one for the shippers...Sam/Jack is a real possibility here)? Would they have met some of the other races/characters (the Tok'ra for example)? etc.
So, the bunny is your's - don't know if I could pull it off
