closest i recall are some where jack and sam swap bodies

I vaguely recall a story where Sam wakes up one morning to find herself in Jack's body ... in her own home, in her own bed.

The same morning, Jack wakes up in his own home, in his own bed, but in Sam's body.

And then the confusion begins ...

I don't think I finished reading that story ...

i read this wonderful Sam swaps with daniel piece, called the other side of the coin, but the author's site is gone. It was slightly pre slash Jack/Daniel, but if you ignored that it was hilarious.

I also read one once, I can't recall the name where Sam and Daniel swap not bodies, but genders, their bodies are changed. It was never finished.

I may give in one day, when I'm done with the kidfic thing, and write a body swap fic. Just for fun.

Yes that was the one. I wish I had downloaded it. I had a link, and the site is gone. The author had actually planned a sort of sequel, something about they wake up and I guess the transformation wasn't so permanent. (sigh) Easy come, easy go.

I found the Daniel/Sam gender reversal. Be warned though, it is a WIP that was never finished. (last updated in 2005) Reversal of Fortune by LdyAnne. A shame, since the idea was a lot of fun. Since she's not using it anymore, I'm actually tempted to steal it, do you think it would be ok? I'd drop a line back for the idea of course. But there's just an opportunity for so much more humor... Or I might just do the body swap... there's something fun about the characters running aound in each other's bodies, getting each other upset...

Personally, I think they wasted a huge opportunity swapping Jack and Teal'c on the show when they had the chance, they should have swapped any of the guys with Sam, for a really fun episode.

Urk. MAybe I'm a pessimist but just imagining the "jokes"... I think that might have been a train wreck. I think Farscape had the best body swapping episode I've ever seen.

Hi!

I'm looking for a story I thought I had read on samandjack.net, but I'm thinking I'm looking in the wrong place as I can't find it ANYWHERE! Lol! It was a short story, more like a oneshot, and it was basically based on Carter's black widow curse. I think that one of the personnel at SGC had a crush on her, which she didn't reciprocate. At the end of the oneshot SG1 were sitting at a table having a meeting when someone mentions that Sam's 'crush' died, and the ending went like something like this: Sam closes her eyes, Jack says to whomever "I wonder how he..." he pauses, looks over at Sam, "Carter, have anything to add?".

Or something like that. I remember thinking it was hilarious that they all came to the natural conclusion that his death was somehow related to her curse. Ok, kinda vague, but if you have any ideas that would be awesome! Thanks!
