L.A., Baby '10!!! (Official SG Con, Los Angeles 2010)
My pictures are terrible, my camera didn't flash the same time as the camera would take the picture I had to rely on other's flashes or else I'd get a dark pic.
I almost never use flash in these situations, instead I rely on fast wide open apeture lenses and high ISO range with minimal noise sensitivity, not sure if any of that makes sense to you.
I did let the organisers know as soon as I read about it - but as far as I'm aware (I only saw half the panel) there wasn't any issues.
Brian was great on stage and did address some of the crap that goes on - it concerns him that the fandom is being torn apart by the SGU issue.
He actually tweeted me during the con which was cool.
I posted a pic of Brian on Twitter: http://twitpic.com/34wx5p
Kathryn, thanks for letting us know. Not much I could do since I was part door man and spent most of the day escorting Ben Browder's wife, Francesca Buller, around. Still I managed to find some time for some fun

Probably 1 of my favourite moments from the con. I didn't get to see her panel but at least I got to talk to her a bit. I told her "I came all the way from Vancouver to see you" She says "Really? You should've just stayed in Vancouver if you wanted to see me" haha http://www.flickr.com/photos/3324525...n/photostream/
Odd way for me to spend my vacation time, working at a con. Still it's was a fun kind of work if that makes sense. And man that green room was packed at times. It was a interesting sight to see all these actors from different genres from shows I watch chatting with each other. Elyse Levesque chatting with Joe Flanigan, then I think Eliza Dushku was there for a bit for example. But man wearing that suit all weekend wasn't comfortable. The radio piece in my ear was interesting though. Felt like I was in the CIA hehe

Hehe nice username ;-)
I had such a great time at the two cons I worked out - it's interesting seeing it all from another side.
I'd like to work at a Creation event once too - and it was fun to be able to catch up with you (however briefly).

Platypus_Man - your pictures are amazing!!!! bye the bye, it was nice meeting you my fellow B.C.'er.
touching on other subjects....
I loved Brian and Elyses pannels, they were both adorable, Brian impressed me so much, especialy after I heard that people had been sending hatemail to his mom?? Really, some people live to hurt others, but Brian was so nice about it, he had every right to be bitter, but he did all his time on stage with that beautiful smile
Joe and Micheal were very funny, and lovely to look at, as usual. So was Chris, Steve, and Dan Shea, do we need to say anything about that man? My poor mother tried to get pictures of him on stage....deffinately not the right camera haha.
Everyones pictures turned out great!!
This was my last LA convention, it seemed like Creation was slowing down on its SG con, so that is probably a good thing. It was lovely meeting everyone, and seeing all my old friends!!!

It was great making a bunch of new friends this time around (can't remember everyone's GW screen name, but you all know who you are!!), seeing all of the "old timers," and in general having fun. This is going to be my last event for a long time, so it made the time I spent with everyone that much more freakin' fantastic!
I'll be posting more later!
Hi *waves* Was great meeting you. Apparently the trip home went well?
The only problem I had is that my camera must have been damaged on the flight out as I could not get it to work properly once I arrived. It would never focus, no matter what setting it was on...and there is some small rattling noise going on. Guess it is time for a new one.
So, I know I have asked some of you to share pics...but those of you that I haven't- if you would be willing to share any photos you took with me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Was great meeting you again. Although there had never been enough time for a real chat.
Ow, too bad with your camera. For a suggestion just look at kayone's post.
Will make an album of my con pics. Just won't have time until next week.

You forgot to mention Sean Maher and Ben Browder. Haven't you seen them? Then I'm afraid you missed some eye candy.
I have a pic of Dan where he's moving. It's only half blurry. If I meet him again, I might use this for an autograph. This way he can see how hard it is to take a pic of him.

Oh no, really? LA is actually the first of the three SG Creation cons I definitely want to do again next year. It's stressful but also so much more fun. Love FS and now even the opportunity to meet other actors from different shows as well.
