Thanks I've been resisting using any of those pics because it seems to me that every other sig I see has used them But somehow the tut I was following just didn't suit Martin

Admittedly not your usual 'style', but it's absolutely beautiful! And really, what else can you do with that pic except vibrant? I tried various things but found it just didn't work without bright colours because of her eyes

And yes, go post it on the AfA thread!

Heh. I tried to downscale the colour and that I tried it in B&W. but it didn't work for me either. So really, when one extreme doesn't work, go for the other

Ive been artworking with that same pic today (to make it a tripple) and the colours sort of forced me into making a 'not really me' sig, to borrow Jumble's line.
It's very ...vibrant.

I've been quiet lately because things at home got weird when Lucy announced she's leaving just after Christmas and has handed in her notice at work. It got weird because we have a contract, and that doesn't end until March, and Julie and I are struggling to figure stuff out. I'm OK though, just stressed. And then work sent me a letter, pretty much ordering me to a meeting to discuss the absence I had in September (when they sent me home, to the hospital) because they're concerned about absence-levels. So, that's like not-a-disciplinary-but-we're-gonna-intimidate-you-anyway thing, and that's later this week. And I have had a cold for a week and a half. Boo.

Anyway, I thought I'd explain the lurking and the non-posting
