I know... I have been lurking from time to time but no time to really post. And I keep seeing all these terribly tempting spoilers and want to cliiiiick....
I haven't seen any of the second half of S3 yet, but very much looking forward to putting my (untainted by spoilers) tuppence worth in. Funyn because being spoiled never bothered me in the past but with Sanctuary... I just like being surprised.

It might even be easier to organise both in tandem. The bigger consideration is the guest's time and shooting schedule but, going back to the lower number of episodes helps somewhat. I guess we shall see. I think at least we can be sure that there's a will and a demand to have these events and that will mean they will happen at some point.

If this were a normal con then chances are they would wait. But remember, they did the TSE to raise money for their S4K's charity. And they raised a whole lot of money all in a 2 day weekend. Now, if the charity wasn't involved......who knows when TSE2 would happen. Think about it, AT6 or TSE2. Both are charity functions, but look how much money one raises compared to the other. Now, strickly thinking about it in that way only, they can raise so much in donations in 2 days with TSE2. I think that one will go first, maybe in the summer and AT6 will be put off until maybe the end of 2012.
AT and Jill have given themselves a large bill to fill each year with their charity. And I've always been told, you cook your food while the coals are still hot. Meaning - TSE2 raises more money. It requires more people be involved, but they start shooting in the spring and would be around in the early/middle part of the summer. It would be important to get as many of the Sanctuary cast there as possible. So my guess is still TSE2 will go first and will be in Vancouver (hopefully in the early summer of 2012).sigpicComment

Certainly a will and a demand for these events and I'm sure Gabit will do what they can. Have to consider that even though they have done TSE before, it is a multi-guest event in another country so it takes a lot of planning and is more difficult to do long distance. Hope you are right. I agree that with TSE they need to strike while the iron is hot. No guarantees how long the show will last and once the show is done the actors may move for work committments.Originally posted by llp View Post
