The secrets on how to make artwork of the Sam/Jack ship family thread

When you're on the main page you should see a button that says 'Browse'...select that button, it'll open a pop-up and look for your file. Once you locate your file, select the 'Open' button on the pop-up and it'll put the file in the block next to the 'Browse' button. You can put your email address in there under 'Your Email' if you like. I do that just to make sure it works. Then select 'Upload File'.

Kim you shouldn't need a program - just right-click the folder you've got the stuff you want to compress, then choose 'send to' > 'compressed (zipped) folder' Simples

Is anyone else having trouble with Photobucket? When I log in, it will show me the things I've got in my albums, but I can't upload new ones. And I can't find anywhere to tell me how much space I've got left...Plus, it's not remembering me, even though I click the 'remember me' box when signing in. It's very frustrating...

Er.... a tut?......... um, well........... ok............

I opened this pic of Sam/AT (pic 1)



And faffed about with gradient maps and different colouring thingies until I got this (pic 2) Oh, and I painted her eyes to make them more blue



Then I opened a new canvass 680 x 180 and put this gradient on it



Added this texture



Which I resized with free transform to fill the space. Duplicated the layer and put it on Overlay.

Then I put pic 2 in, resized it to fit and erased the background around her.

Um.....

Then I used the rectangle select tool to cut out bits of the background from pic 2 and pasted them into the sig, rotating and resizing randomly.

Did something else with Selective Colouring.......

Then I duplicated the pic 2 layer twice, moved and resized both extra layers, and moved them in the layer order so that they were in front of some of the rectangles but behind some others.

Fonts are Garamond pro for Amanda and Old Script for Tapping.
And that’s it



It was really just a messing about exercise that managed to produce something I was really pleased with
