Can you tell me how to keep one color in the pic and to delete all the others!!! I want to try that as well...one day
I already answered this, but did you mean the Photoshoot icons?

I'm watching Farscape (half naked John) and got distracted.

I did those with layer masks. Make two stamps. Desaturate one. Put a layer mask on the top stamp. Take a black brush and paint on the mask, that will make the lower stamp show up.

p.s. Love the ship version of the wallie.

                      Lovely sigs Kim

Josi asked for few tuts yesterday. I hope they help, but they all have selective coloring in them. (you really need to get PS )

                      Spoiler:
                      1. I used this cap. Croped, resized, sharpened, blured out the skin. (it's what I do with all the icons)

The colors looked a bit pale so I added a new layer, filled it with #fadfb0 and set it Multiply.

                      2. Then I wanted to make a little difference between the background and Sam's uniform and increase the contrast.

New Adjustment Layer -> Selective color

                      reds: -47; 13; 0; -21
                      yellows: -34; -33; -59; 0
                      neautrals: 45; 12; 2; 0

                      3. New Adjustment Layer -> Selective color

                      reds: -33; 0; 0; 0
                      greens: 100; 0; 0; 0
                      neautrals: 23; -11; -9; 0

                      4. New Adjustment layer -> Levels

                      input levels: 29; 1; 255

                      5. set to Lighten 60%

                      6. On a new layer at the bottom of the icon I made a selection 7x100 and filled it with #fadfb0. I duplicated that layer, set the duplicate to Color Dodge and moved it few pixels up

                      Spoiler:
I didn't do much on this icon. The pic was quite good to work with. Just the standard sharpen and blur.

                      1. New Adjustment layer -> Selective color

                      reds: -21; 12; 15; 0
                      yellows: -35; -30; -35; 0
                      neutrals: 17; -21; -31; 0
                      blacks: 0; 0; 0; 13

                      2. Made a new layer, set it to Color, and painted the eyes with #adf0ee. Lowered the opacity to 80% cause the eyes were to bright

                      3. New Adjustment layer -> Selective color

                      reds: -20; 23; 0; 0
                      cyans: 100; 0; 0; 0
                      neutrals: 100; 0; 0; -8

                      Spoiler:
                      This is the original pic

                      1. Duplicate the base three times. Set the first duplicate to Screen 100%, the second to Screen 70%, and the third to SoftLight 70% (desaturate this layer).

                      2. The coloring

New Adjustment layer -> Selective color

                      reds: -66; 25; 11; 0
                      yellows: -10; -8; -5; 0
                      greens: 86; -100; -100; 0
                      neutrals: 39; -8; -16; 0

                      3. New Adjustment layer -> Selective color

                      reds: 0; 27; 35; 0
                      greens: 100; 100; -100; 0

                      4. New adjustment layer -> Brightness/Contrast

                      27/0

                      5. set to Lighten, and erased the parts covering Sam.

Great sigs Kim - I love how simple the second one is, in particular, very effective.

Jas thanks for the tuts I found out how to adjust colour levels in gimp, so I'll have to see if I can mimic the selective colouring too
