Yes, others have said so.

The rewatch starts again tomorrow. I'm doing two per week this time so we can take it slow and easy (and draw out the torture until S6 ) I'll post a link here, there and everywhere to remind eveeryone.

The other thing is, what constitutes a texture? I tend to use pics and patterns as textures

So how exactly does one make a texture?

However one pleases.

You can combine other textures, use stock images, slap a couple of colors on a background and use the smudge tool to merge them, use some filters, add geometric shapes, text... Honestly the possibilities are endless.





The tut

Spoiler:

1. I filled the background with light gray color (#d1d0d0)

2. This stock image set to Lighten.

3. This stock set to Hard light. I grabed a large soft brush (300 pixels) and I masked the parts around the tree. Opacity set to 80%.



4.With a lighther gray color (#eeebeb) I did the small rectangle. And then the bigger one in white color. I used a gradient to make it fade at the bottom.

5. I wrote 'tranquility' in Kingthings Serafique Light font (color #d1d0d0)



6. I added this gradient map (the colors are #9ac998 & #701212) set to Overlay.

And that's it. I didn't do much work on it.
