I'd love to be able to put the gif of that look in there instead of the still shot, but the whole gif/animation thing confuses me still If anyone's able to explain it in clear and simple words of one syllable so I've got a chance of understanding that would be great

I use a program called Snapz for taking screen caps. I think its mac use only though. But its a free download.

I've managed to figure out how to cap. Thanks Jann and Jumble for the help with that.

Now I have a new problem. I can't get the subtitles to stay off. I go to the DVD menu and click "off" but the subtitles are back as soon as I go back to watching. Does anyone know how to keep them off? They get in the way when capping, and they bother me when I'm watching.

Have you tried whacking it with Siler's wrench? Sorry. Um...All I can think is that maybe your computer has a pre-set playback setting dictating the subtitles. *sigh* And I'm not sure where you would find it, either... Sorry. I'm pretty useless from a distance. I have to get my hands on the computer and play with it.

The only control I can find for subtitles is in the 'Subtitles Menu' (same list as root menu, button below 'eject' on the far right of control panel) Clicking on that gives language options or 'none'. Clicking 'none' should turn off the subtitles. If that's what you're doing and its still not working, then I am at a complete loss, sorry
