Gimp and I are not getting along again today.

It's like they aren't bright enough. Not that I'm not stating the obvious. . Not that I can help. (I suck I know)

On my own personal help here..... anyone good with vids?

I followed all the instructions that were given in post #3 and I have clips... but when I load them into Windows Movie Maker, only the first part of it plays. When I click on them, and it opens in Windows Media Player, I can see all of it.

I don't know. That fw that's right on top of Sam and Jack is a little too bright and I can't see them very well. Maybe lowering the opacity on that one?

Not sure if I understand. You have the clip in .avi and then load them into WMM. And there is only a half of the clip? How long are the clips? I always make very short to load them. And the clip is usually divided into more parts, maybe this is the problem.

your vid, or just the beginning of each clip?

The longest clip is 12 secs. The other ones around right around the 5-7 sec. mark. And here I was thinking that they were too short.

Sometimes, WMM needs to be shut down and started up again a few minutes later. UhSir had some great tips for vid-making, if I can find them. I'll look.

For that particular version, I just drew a layer over top of the existing image and filled it with a color gradient. It's Gimp.
