okay so im feelings really stupid but can anyone tell me how to save a project in gimp so that it will upload onto photobucket?

You have to save it as a jpg file. Go onto "file" > "save as" > then type whatever you want the file to be called and put .jpg at the end. Et voila!

FYI it's a good idea to also save the file as .xcf too. This saves all the layers so you can go back and work on it if you want to .

I saw the ghosting tut that was in the link Solo posted and had to have a go at it...then I had to use the ghost pic


Edit: Grrrrrr - it looked great in Gimp, but you can't even tell it's Sam now I've uploaded it I'll have another look at it tomorrow

Oh that's lovely! Sam's face is a little bit indistinct, but it doesn't need to be much clear so don't fiddle too much
