Oh well, Happy Birthday anyway....

My excuse is that I've been playing Tour Guide to my friend Monica (who runs Michael Shanks' official website, MSOL), who has been over here on holiday from Australia, and taking her shopping all round Kent, SE England and up to London........and a grand time has been had by all........Oh yes, we got to see the gorgeous and wonderfully lovely, kind, friendly and funny Mr Shanks at London Film & Comic Con too.......



Hope you had a wonderful holiday and birthday and I wish you were coming to Chicago in 3 weeks' time or Vancouver next year...yes, I'm going again......this time no surprises, I'm definitely going to be there, 5th year in a row, with Mr Deeds of course!.......I will give Seshat a big hug for you in Chicago and we will endeavour to enjoy ourselves on your behalf!..

The funniest thing was when I was sent an email at work that was meant for the other girl in the office I worked in with the same christian and surname as me and she liked to use the same shortened form of Elizabeth that I do, but I'd taken that one first on the email list but this sender didn't know this. She was also 20 years younger than me so it was quite funny when I got a rather 'steamy' email 'asking' me out! I replied to the hapless young man and told him I'd be happy to have a 'Toy Boy' !!!!

Speaking of odd emails....I'm getting emails from ASU students who think I'm their professor of journalism/broadcasting. I've contacted the helpdesk, and there's nothing they can do about it.
