I bought mine in Nov last year and that was #510 (when we got there one of the stewards said there were about 750 people there). Tickets sales will probably hold steady until the next guest is announced - quite posibly Torri - and then they're likely to shoot up!

I'd say aside from the queuing, Wolf is probably the best for a first con. I was lucky enough to go with people who had been to Peg1, but everyone was so friendly anyway.

Parents are a pain. I'm 17 and my parents said no when I asked them (even though I made a cost & travel plan and everything) so I got my friend to book it for me without their knowledge. Me and my friend are both going down together. I'm a bit upset that I have to lie to my parents about it but I'm at university now so I don't see why I can't go. They won't notice if I disappear for the weekend...
