I might be adding Fuchsia's name to the cocktail party list soon. Apparently, her husband has offered to pay for it and she's been sent an invite.

So it looks like I might just be hanging out with my fiancée wife (did I really just say that?) in the lobby. Pbbbbbbt! How boring is that going to be?! *giggles*

And as for the tech team, I can totally see them flipping over it. When I used to do theatre work when I was 18ish, I hated doing lighting for productions in the round. Getting the right mix on stage can be tricky enough, but in a round where you have to compensate for angles and shadows... *shakes head*. And Ruth and Thom, who used to be in charge of sound, used to swear something rotten.

You do realise that lobby will probably be rockin'...I can't imagine any part of the weekend being boring in any way. Some of the highlights of past Gabit events that I have read about and that stand out the most for me are the shenanigans that happen between events. I mean, I've read peoples accounts of the cocktail party but it's the fun that everyone seems to have in the lobby and at the pubs that stand out the most for me. I'm really looking forward to those moments the most.
