Wow, this is really weird. Wonder how I managed to get the time so messed up. I was two days ahead on my posts. Oh well, glad to see nothing is wrong. ROFL.

Just ignore the strange woman sitting in the corner mumbling to herself about time distortions and needing a new computer.

Time distortions!!! At least you didn't suffer from entropic cascade failure, thank goodness.

Keep knocking days off, as I can't wait until November!

London in late November is usually cold and damp, so bring plenty of layers for when you are outside.

For the cocktail party, dress is formal. Men in shirts and ties and ladies glammed up. Posh frocks or decent trouser suits - absolutely no jeans or trainers!

The discos are casual. Saturday night will have a fun theme. Not telling yet what it is, but we are all having quiet chuckles at the meetings..... Wear what you want - as long as it's decent. (Thought I'd get *that* in before some wiseacre came up with something....well, indecent!) If you want to dress up, then do. If not, then t shirts and jeans are fine.

Thank you so much...it was a BIG help. And I'm so glad we get to "dress" for the cocktail party. I'll be searching all summer for the perfect outfit. I'm truly tired of t-shirts and jeans, as that's my usual attire. I rarely get to dress up, so I'm looking forward to it.

Ok, it looks as if my husband and I are going to head to the UK a week before the con and try to check out sites. Anyone have any suggestions for places to visit? We didn't make it very far out of London last year, so just about anything is up for grabs this time.
