Besides that though, he will still learn a ton from the Tuari systems, just not as much as he could have if it was the Odyssey.
But realistically, he will have his hands full not only subduing the entire crew which is still at large and no doubt in key areas of the ship that would have to be accessed to even attempt getting the necessary data to reverse engineer hyper drives or other Asgard tech. I highly doubt that they could do that from the bridge alone, they would at least have to go to engineering, which is some distance from the bridge if I recall correctly.

Besides, Todd must know that he'll be tracked by Atlantis wherever he goes, so I'd imagine that he'll want to destroy the Attero device ASAP.

It's obvious that Shepperd will intercept him in time to at least save McKay and Jackson, and that they will most likely get the Daedalus back at that planet, meaning the window of opportunity would be slim.

And like others have said, although Todd is a smart guy and knows a lot about Ancient tech doesn't mean that he could figure out Asgard technology in the span of a few hours, and he can't upload it to another Hive because when he jumps to hyperspace the Wraith ships won't be able to come too.

Asgard shields and weapons appear to be more powerful than their Ancient counterparts. Since the Wraith never took shields from the Ancients, there's no reason that they would, or could, take even more advanced ones from us.

In the PG it is not surprising that they left a lot of stuff what with teh wraith breathing down their neck.

Agree'd on both counts, the Alien Suit Soldier types just called it a "Device", the first time we hear it named is by Todd so seeing as it was a secret device in a secret lab it'd be fair to assume Attero is what the Wraith called it.
