Anyway, by definition wanting SG1 technology in Atlantis, you are dismissing the value of the technology already there which is in some area's far superior.

I just find it odd that one would want to see SG1 tech if Atlantis has just as much to offer... Just my opinion, but apparently not as important as your own.

It has been more than a year and they did not discover anything new in Atlantis. With that core there, the writers are forced to bring up new tech, history, exploration, etc...
