true. however this is SCI FI's fault. they should've watched the vid, the person was clearly asking about the third SG movie (SG-1, NOT Atlantis). it's just stupid

Well that's just silly....None of the SG-1 guys that have been on SGA have stolen the limelight....In fact they have blended in rather well!

I agree. also Sam's an Atlantis character since s4 imo. anyway it doesn't matter if Sam, Daniel, Teal'c or Walter (LOL) appear in the movie(s), it'll still focus on the team

It would indeed be pretty cool. And if something 'bad' happens to Earth, Wraith related, then it would be great if they worked together. It would be great to see Mitchell and Vala again, since they aren't exactly going to be picked up for an appearance in Atlantis.

And then... hear all the whiners about Atlantis being its own show and it's preposterous that there's other people in it than the Lanteans.

The whole idea of a spin-off is that it comes from another show, idiots...

The writers could fix the whole "that's preposterous!" problem, at least in my book, by having the Wraith and an SG-1 enemy in the film. Although I really wouldn't be bothered if it was just the Wraith since the Ori and Goa'uld have already been neutralized (though maybe the Trust is still a threat?). The SG-1 enemy would have to be one of the minor ones that didn't get complete closure during SG-1's run. I'm hoping the Foothold aliens wouldn't be brought into the crossover movie with the Wraith, though, as I think the Foothold aliens deserve their own movie.
