Maybe in reunion we'll see more flash backs from the Wraith invasion of Sateda, i'd love to see the Wraith handing out a good old fashion butt whooping...

hopefully Teal'c will help Ronon make a decision as he`s been in a similar position since the Free Jaffa Nation was born in season 8.

It would certainly make sense to have a scene like that, bc even pre-S8, Teal'c has always had the option of whether to stay or rejoin his people.

Not sure how that would come off to people who haven't watched SG1 - a seemingly random character offering Ronon advice on a crucial decision - but as someone who has watched both, I find it rather interesting (albeit if it is something I'd expect to see in fic )

I think teal'c would kick Ronan's butt (and would enjoy watching that, skins would be better), but it would be a close call. Ronan's style is aggressive and fast, and while he might have a height and therefore reach advantage, T is, well, T for a start, but also a more thoughtful and predatory opponent IMHO. Now Teyla and Teal'c would be interesting, her style is more fluid and relies on speed over brute force, but both have this zen quality to them that would make it a mismatch of eqauls.

I wanna see what they mean by if he rejoins his people he will have to give up something more than just his new buddies?

I love Ronan, he and Teyla are my favourites, and I am really looking forward to this ep, should be good, cause after Sateda, JM went up in my estimation, his acting was top notch so I am expecting good stuff.

I think Ronon's friends are now Wraith worshippers (as in "The Hive") and that's how they stayed alive, and now they want him to join them.

Seems a bit too obvious for me but it would make sense, or maybe there is a new evil out there ready to come to the fore.
Still, as long as its a RD heavy ep I'll be happy.

The peeps seem to be possible wraith worshippers. Plus, I heard that Carter is leader of Atlantis at this point. I wonder what happened to Weir...?! Reunion is one of the top 5 eps, so Weir must be out early...Maybe she'll be shown intermittently.

Oooh, and this is the answer to my question to JM about Ronon's specialist abilities...we see it in this ep. I wuv you Ronon (lesser mortal that he is [no man is McKay])!!

The sound women make when they faint in adoration of sexy males---such as McKay! It's the "thunk" sound as they hit the ground---thunking---then women/men who do this are thunkers.

I can't see Carter in it working unless she is promoted.

Anyway, circling round back to the ep, I wonder if it will highlgiht where Ronan got that awesome gun from, and something more in his backstory, not family or anything, can't be bothered with that, I am thinking about the wraith not being able to feed. who knows, could be something out of a Marvel like he volunteers to test some knew medicine or something (link to wifee being a doc) but it goes wrong and the result is able to fend off the enzyme released during a feeding?

Good point. But we've seen Ronon defer to military orders before. Remember in Condemned when John says, "Do I have to make it an order?" or something to that affect. So he does respect military authority, except of course in eps like Sateda (where he had a vendetta and justified agenda) or

I don't know if we'll get backstory like that on Ronon.

From what I gathered, it's only just before the war breaks out or I should say goes into full swing. The gun and most of the other Satedan weaponry seems to have been in the works for a while. Plus, I think the wraith focus is on driving how they might have driven the Satedans to become worshipers by taking their lives and giving it back---like with Common Ground.

Even a bit of more story will do it for me, I'm not greedy.
I wonder if that friend of his from Belken will show up.

Bets on what the price will be? Killing one of his team, giving them up to be fed on, gotta be either McKay or Teyla called on to be sacrificed, with Shep doing the 'Atlantis is family' speech.
