One of my questions to JM, which unfortunately we might not see is that I would actually love to see Ronon---lead a rescue team and I would like to see how that meeting goes down on mapping the territory and how he manages the power levels of those under him.

Or another great one, is to see more of him teamed up with other members. I'd love to see him and Lorne working together, and I know Lorne will be in S4, based on what JM said in his blog about the episode shootings. Or maybe Ronon sharing a scene with Zelenka (not because of my crack-slash pairing of Zenon! ). I just think Ronon plays off the other characters very well, which makes him an intersting character. Further more, for a guy from Baywatch ( and I don't consider people on Baywatch really worth their stone besides David Hasselhoff (between him and Caruso and RDA I'm lost in a sea of panty-drop worthy men))---JM to me delivers a fantastic emotional performance. He can do intense emotion that is realistic for his character (despite the fact that it may not appear as such, initially). Hence the reason I love watching eps and rewatching eps with Ronon.
Definitely. I'd love to get the chance to see Ronon interacting with characters outside Shep's main team. Anything that can be given to Ronon that gives him more of an identity outside of the team is a good thing, IMO. Speaking of something a little like that, I loved the beginning of Echoes.
    Spoiler:
Seeing Ronon annoyed with Zelenka over the time on the mainland was priceless. Again, it was nice to see Ronon handling or at least getting the chance to think about Ronon handling a situation that is outside the normal team dynamics that we're used to see him deal with.
And yeah, I'd like to see some of Ronon's specialist skills come out. I wonder at his level of training (especially in comparison to the levels set out by say the Air Force, what would his equivalent be?). And not only that but what has been his experience in terms of leadership and how he would deal with or command others. Especially given his propensity toward standing his ground and fighting instead of tactical retreat or "giving up" as he's put it in the past. Would his focus or perspective change given the charge or others or would that characteristic be the one to get men/women under his command in trouble? I suppose it might also depend on the nature of the mission he was undergoing but it is an aspect of his character that I'd love to see explored.

I'm definitely looking foward to the upcoming season because of some of the things that have been coming out about what we're going to see from Ronon. Especially the news about...
    Spoiler:
Reunion and seeing the Satedan survivors. I wonder if they'll revisit the secret held between Ronon and Teyla in this episode of if they'll forget it and pretend it's not there.

As for JM's ability, I've been very pleasently surpried at the range he's been able to pull off throughout the series. Considering I had my doubts about the character from the start and his he-man warrior facade I think JM's really been able to take that kind of character and mould him into a fairly well-rounded figure. Although we don't necessarily see it through the writing I think the fact that we can speculate and see all these paths for Ronon is in part due to the way that Jason presents the character just as much as it is due to the history and background that's been laid out for us.

In terms of the whole R/T romanitc involvement, team tensions, etc etc, I definitely understand the fact that neither is bound by the rules of the MW characters and both are free to leave any time. I just wonder at the response of others is all. But yeah I definitely want to see the bond between the two characters grow, even if it's only into a very tight friendship.

Although, the fact that they are clearly in Atlantis because they see it as the best hope of winning the war against the Wraith is interesting in terms of character as well. I'm not really sure where to take that but I'm just wondering what happens, especially with Ronon, when/if the focus of the team shifts away from the Wraith. I doubt it will ever happen but we've seen Ronon come up against and speak against the ways that the expedition deals with Wraith and/or Wraith-related things in the past. So if the focus of the team changes has Ronon's realtionship and connection with the expedition members grown and strengthened enough to keep him in Atlantis if they were no longer the best means of fighting the Wraith?

That'd be a twist and a half. I'd love to see that.

the wraith can feed on Ronon's people. can you remember the episode, "Sateda"? the head wraith of that hive ship said, "i once fed on the humans of your homeworld, that is where i will watch you die".

but yes, i think they should go more into why Ronon cant be fed on. as in the episode, "Runner", he said, "a wraith was feeding on me, so i made him stop".

He said that, but still did not feed on ronon. SO to me, whether he can be fed on is still open.
