i like that his annoying it keeps the show interesting. i also like that he grows through out the show

This is definitely one of my favorites for Atlantis. While I did enjoy the characters and stories of SG-1 slightly more than Atlantis, I will poise the notion that John's team as a for whole contains characters with much more potential to grow and develop even over a short time (5 seasons)

Rodney was a character that I despised on SG-1. A total foil for Carter. Seeing him change and the relationships develop on Atlantis shines a whole new light on the character. Rodney is a good guy, just with an ego the size of a goauld mothership.

lol i agree about the ego. i loved seeing mckay grow and change i also disliked him in stargate but as time went by in atlantas he grew to be my fave character.
