Season 3 Of Atlantis (Spoilers)

There's about 50 or so Hive ships now, thanks to the Atlantis team. Used to be 60. So the massive Hive ships and their Wraith cruisers... how many Cruisers to a Hive Ship? I assume each Wraith Hive Ship fleet work much like a US Navy carrier group, with the Hive Ship as the center piece and a bunch of escort ships around it.

Anyway... lets assume there's at least 2 or 3 Cruisers to 1 Hive Ship. You have about 200 ships (50 Hives, 150 Cruisers). Seems a lot.... but now you have the Hataks, in which powerful System Lords had a lot of. I remember the Battle of Dakara invoving about 80 or so Hataks in Anubis and Baal's fleets, who were then confronted by 120+ Repilcator-invaded Hataks. Im sure there are PLENTY more Hataks out there, and these doesn't include other ships like the Al'Kesh. In other words... the Goa'uld/Jaffa have far more ships than the Wraith.

Just as a precaution I say we bring in our recruits from earth who can scare off anything...NYC Taxi Drivers....Their like the Kamakazi, and they just never seem to end.

I am guessing they find out the wraith are headed towards to MW galaxy and what makes this interesting is that they find out there is more than 50 +/- hive ships. Maybe wraith ships from a bordering (or on the edge of the Pegasus galaxy) galaxy will begin moving towards the MV and they find out there is like 100+ on their way. That would make things more interesting, if they undercalculated the number of wraith ships.

I think that there a lot more than sixty hive. In that episode I believe that they there were sixty in there part of the galaxy. Anyway it would certainly spice things up in the Milkyway. I would love to see one of these ships truly tested in battle

i doubt going to be Michael and his crew. For one thing, Michael is going to become the "recurring Wraith character" than TPTB spoke of. I could see Michael underhanding the SGA team by perhaps giving in secret, data on hyperdrives to a Hive or two that are his Hive's secret allies.

heres what is going to happen.

atlantis is going to foreward the information to earth.
earth will say its forces are running thin and cant do anything.

meanwhile the wraith calculate its going to take a year to get to earth
so they threaten mckay to build them a hyperdrive.

weier mitch pillegi(forgot his name) makes a plan to chase them with the orion and capture them.(the dedalus is in too bad a shape)

the scene jumps to the wraith hive ship hanger where shepard was able to dock and hide his 302.

yadda,yadda,yadda shepard rescues ronan and they go rescue mckay.

the orion catch up to them and start to hammer them.
the queen realizes whats going on so so she tries to suck rodney.

just in time to save mckay ronan shots her.

michael escapes after a showdown with ronan.

*hemroid(the asgard) beams a canister of retrovirus to the hive ship and they take over it. now they have a hive ship ,yay . (not really)

*most likely the orion will get destroyed

People keep mentioning the replicators in this thread but they got destroyed also some idiot put in brackets that the replicators were former residents of the pegasus galaxy?!?

The furlings have yet to be seen that we no of so you can't really count on them against the wraith and the Asgard are not exactly available atm since they are rebuilding their civilisation. the haven't really been forthcoming in helping us against the Ori.

Wraith's technology same level with Ancients.

Alterans oldest advanced race. They made Atlantis a few million years ago! (first episode of SGA).

Ancients came from Alterans like Ori. And Ori same level with Ancients.

I think, Asgard technology dont enough for Ori or Wraiths. They fight with replicators many years and they couldnt find any solution for them. But only a few days of Ancient memory (Jack) destroyed replicators.

We dont know anything about Furlings. I think, their technology very close to Ancients. But maybe they lost against Ori in their galaxy or they left our universe like Ancients.

Except this, i dont think Milky Way races (include humans) can stand against Wraith. Maybe if Furlings and Ori can help.

Because Ori couldnt do anything against Ancients (Alterans) but Ancients could only hold Atlantis in Pegasus and they forced to return Milky Way because of Wraith.
