I can see them giving Carson an ep. He has a big, loyal following that put together a good campaign. I just hope it isn't too centered on him.

Hi folks, a newbie making her first post here.

Oddly enough this is a big step for me. I normally lurk and lurk and well ya know lurk but this is too close a community for me to just read and not say anything.

Im Outrigger blue and Im a whumpaholic. Have been since forever, always the one to keep the episodes on tape of your fave show when the hero gets hurt etc. Thank goodness for Stargate SG1 and Daniel Jackson whom without I dont think I would have been diagnosed as a whumper. Now I know that I am not the only one out there that likes the same things. lol

So yeah, hi everybody and I hope to start posting more.

Oh and thanks everybody that has posted the many pics I have snurched in the past 3 months of John Sheppard.

There was an awful lot of blood - it pooled and then over flowed, so I wondered how cool it would be if Shep was impaled and the docs couldn't get to him. Ronon was there and he had to remove the bar and then Shep had a massive haemorrhage and Ronon might have to jam a rolled up jacket into his side...(John screams in agony)

Is there a cure for psychotic whumpmania?

That sounds great and I don't think there is a cure. I do believe a few of the whumpers did go through a 12 step program, though I'm not sure how that turned out.

I was very interested in this eppy from a horror perspective but a little put off by the idea of JUST Carson and a ton of minor characters. Now that John's in the mix, sounds very exciting. I for one will not complain if there are more women, he IS the hero of the show...and this does seem more Carson focused, so I doubt it'll play out like that.

I prefer Team eppys, I'll take Carson and Sheppard over Carson and Rodney together with them.

S5 - Whispers

I have a feeling that in this ep the women may have something to prove to the Colonel. I'm hoping that JM writes the women marines as good as the males. I'm thinking he will. I wonder if Shep gets a head injury or something and has to rely on this female team as well as Carson to get him back to Atlantis and then perhaps we could get a infirmary scene. The only thing I really don't want to hear in the whole Kirk thing. That would annoy me to no end.
