I think I will stick with my dogs. I used to have a cat (he was a sweetheart and I still miss him 17 years later) but I could not stand the litter box.

i've had all sorts of pets and i always miss the ones that passes

my current two are a 12 year old border collie named shelby and a 1 year old cat named vegas
i lost my last cat Nikita last year after 19 years. all pets should live for ever
