i was on my way out to work yesterday and found my hamster dead. He wasn't even a year old. I loved him like i do all my pets but he was a little bit special. He was the first pet i got. I mean, me, not my mum or dad. I saw him when i was buying bird food and fell in love. He was so small and on his own away from the others. He didn't suffer i think. He was curled up asleep. I knew as soon as i opened the door and he didn't pop his head up. I just feel like i'm to blame, that i should have noticed something or done something. I keep looking over and expecting to see him. I think i might get another one, but a different breed. Seems a waste not to make use of all the stuff i still have. I'm just sick of being the one to find them, my whole life. No one has had to be the barer of bad news to me. My family don't realise how heartbroken i am. I had to go to work after and i cried the whole way in my car. My boss noticed straightaway and gave me a big hug which i really needed. I'm going pet shop to have a look. Get my mind away and focused on something else. I blame the show. They kill Carson, then my hamster who was called Carson dies.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, sweetie!!! *big hug* I never had a dog or any other pet apart from my ornamental fish, but I don't doubt it a second that you're very sad and heartbroken right now.
Bye, A.

I've never seen those pics before. Where are they from?
I think the first is from "And never let her go", and the second is from "Joe's wedding", the film that made the teapot famous in this thread! We were all teapot freaks here for a while. *ah the memories*
The rubber duckies were still wee babies in a cradle and merely dreaming of seeing certain, ehhh, 'hewletty parts' when the teapot had seen them already!
gutterguttergutter.....

I'm sorry, Red. {{{{{{{{{RedPhoniex}}}}}}}} It sounds as if he was very well loved, and that's the best thing you can say for anyone's life, human or hamster. I'm sure he felt loved. I hope you feel better soon.
Willow´s Cat, those caps are great, especially the second one I love when he has messy hair. He should wear them still like that. Or are they afraid that he would be cooler than Sheppard?
