Yay, I've seen Critical Mass! All in all really a great episode. There were so many great moments between the characters! And I really admired DH again, all his technobabble scenes were so long and had so much text, really difficult text too, well, I'd never be able to remember all these lines!
By the way, SciFi.com has finally published the rest of the answers of the Q&A in the SciFi magazine:

Obviously DH doesn't only like Doctor Who and Firefly but is also a great fan of The Outer Limits.
Oh, and he said that the personal item of McKay were all of his diplomas. I always thought that he brought these things with him after they reestablished contact with earth, but then again, we never saw his room before Duet.
Apropos Duet, I had the honour to watch it again together with a great SGA fan who hasn't seen it before. That was a lovely afternoon, watching Duet while munching popcorn and afterwards discussing season 2 - I love it!
Rose - lovely new pic for your sig!

Yet another cap from Critical Mass.
A lot of "Rodney looks good" moments in this episode.

Love this.
Q: What's your favorite sci-fi movie?
Hewlett: I think I'd have to go with either Blade Runner or Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Both of them still give me shivers.

100% David Hewlett guaranteed.
I was trying to pay extra attention to all the Rodney scenes in CM where you can see his hands. Oh, and there was one shot in which you only see his hands and then there's another cut before you see Rodney again completely, so maybe these weren't his hands again then?
Originally posted by Drwho'sroseHas anyone been able to cap the snappy hands (you know that thing he does ) he moves too fast for me.
but of course next week *squee* GUP.

Yeah, I just got mail! A parcel from Amazon! Many goodies are in there, the SGA soundtrack, the SGA S1 companion (although I need to hand the book over to my mother, I will get it for Christmas), and, finally, "Nothing" on DVD! *happy dance*
Can't wait to watch it, but I've hardly time to watch something from my boxset, so this will have to wait a little. Maybe on the weekend.

Ah, if only our paths had crossed sometime!
There was a rerun of Close Encounters last month on TV and I hadn't seen it in the last 10 years. DH is right: it gave me shivers!

Originally posted by NacEygaNGuys, what's with all the hand-flipping and quick movements you keep talking about? I have Indeed seen RM move his hands quickly and swiftly but not quickly enough for them to be zoomed in. Enlighten me. BTW, Hand Porn?
DH just talks a lot with his hands when he's playing Rodney. So much pointing, flipping, clicking, and then there's his special "happy hands" gesture (making a fist and slapping the palm of the other hand on it) - we just love all this!
Bye, A., crazy hand thunker
