OMG!!! I just read through the posts for today, and I'm so sorry I kept everyone waiting!!!!!! I really didn't mean for it to be so long! My brother had an "unexpected" guest last night (i.e. he invited him, but didn't tell anyone else about it ) and he slept in the guest room, where my computer is located, and he didn't wake up until noon, and by then the forum was down, and so finally, I was able to get on and post just a little while ago. Phew!

And I am voting like mad. We were only ahead by 3 votes when I started, and now we're ahead by 145! Keep up the voting, fellow thunkers! Anyway, enjoy the sig, I'll leave it up tomorrow, since I got it up so late today. Now I'm off to go vote!

Nekkid!McKay!!!! Alright, so he was covered in a sheet, but that's what imagination and fanfic is for.
And I am so, so, so, SOOOOO happy to have the old McKay back!!! Not Comic-Relief Man, but the true snarky genius we've all come to know and love, and I just breathed a sigh of relief at the end of that episode. It's good to have you back, Rodney!

And as an aside, how the heck did the Sheppardites catch up with us? We were a good 300 votes ahead of them 3 hours ago!!! Okay, off to do my thunker's duty and vote, vote, vote!!!!

My thoughts on the episode Duet. By Ra-Hanna.

Spoiler:

Mind you I have to watch it a second time to give a proper critique. But on first viewing, David was absolutely wonderful in this. There were a lot of blatant moments when it was obvious who had control. But there were subtle ones as well that really showed that it was not necessary to over act to get the point across. The image of him holding Katy Brown and reaching for Carson was not the Carson/Rodney kiss. But they do kiss and as a slash fiction reader, its nice that they're so heteroflexible. (Yes! I've been dying to use that word today!)
The ep as a whole was good. The Rodney parts were thunk worthy of course. But I think the best part was in the beginning when they showed the teams off world. Just seeing them walking and talking gave a little insight. Oh and just to be fair. The actress did a voice over so we could hear her thoughts. She did a darn good job. OH! I almost forgot. The nakedness was more implied than shown. Just a bare chest. Guess we'll have to stick with teapots. Only complaint...the editing seemed, I don't know, off. Akward. Something like that.

Can't wait to hear everyone elses thoughts. And I certainly can't wait to see caps of the ep! Thanks in advance to those who post'em. Off to vote again before bed. Its really hard being a multiple thunker and voting. But I'm sticking to my McKay guns. Even though I really love Joe's ears! Ugh!
