Thank you David for so many wonderful McKay moments! I was only watching Hide and Seek the other day and I started to cry... I realised there would be no more 'Mr Brave at the last minute' McKay turns...

It's been one hell of ride, although for me it is not so much 5 years as 4ish years, we were a good year behind in Australia when I first started watching SGA; then I joined GW and I started Thunking Michael Shanks, yes I was originally a Shanks Thunker! What was I thinking? Thunking David Hewlett!

Well i guess all we have left for us to do, is to say:
thank you for a wonderfull character and for five amazing years.

And if it means anything, the fact that they're casting , among those stupid characters of SGU, a character that is propably a 20+Mckay, just shows how importand Mckay is for the "franchise".
Funny isn't it, how shameless they are at casting a character like Mckay and one like Jack? What happenned to all new etc etc?

Yes, like noone could replace Jack in SG1... or Spok in StarTrek.
Those characters are just to great.
Mckay just tops them all, imo.

I affraid about the movie because in the movie generally(look sg1) there is fewer interactions between the characters and me I love sga for that exactly.

What movie? they don't make movies.They make two episodes, put them together and say they have a movie.
That's what it felt like to me with the SG1 "movies". If they don't want to put real money into the movie they're suppossed to make, we won't have a real SGA movie.
I am really laughing hard at the Universe forums right now. Now that more people realized what a $^%^(*&* SGU is going to be, after they announced the characters.
No way that guy Eli will ever be like Mckay.

Oh man, I just read the characters for Universe.... I'm so glad I chose today to send off a Save Atlantis postcard to MGM. I'm so mad I could cry. Aren't we the people keeping it on the air? I don't want 20-somethings, I want my Atlantis characters. My older, sexy, intelligent characters.
