Based on that story, I'm guessing it was Paul who changed his pose, not Carson...but I'm just guessing. Crossing your arms is an off-putting defensive pose and better suits Rodney, anyway.

This is so funny. I wrote the exact same thing almost word for word in an earlier post, using a different cap. I'd link to the post, but the search function seems to be missing right now.

I was actually at a convention where this was discussed by some of the male members of the Star Trek Voyager cast. The Holographic Doctor usually got the arms crossed pose in that show.

Here's the cap from The Gift that I used as my example. You can't pose like Rodney and Ford in Trek uniforms. John has his hands on his hips but I don't think he looks effeminate at all.

The joke made about this photo is that while Rodney is looking directly at Elizabeth, John and Ford seem to be looking elsewhere.

Just for info: In the US, they are skipping Childhood's End and Poisoning the Well and going straight to Underground. I'm very not happy about this as I was looking forward to Childhood's End. It's one of my favorite Rodney episodes... him and the kids are great!

That stinks! I have not seen PTW so I guess I have to wait till November now. Were there any good Mckay scenes in it? I know, I know...every scene with Mckay is a good scene

Mmmm...nice piccy...I love the way that Rodney looks so laid back in that piccy...he kind of has that look like, 'what the heck ya talking about' look on his face.

It was a more Carson-heavy epi, but there was some wonderful McKay goodness.

Thats why I taped them all. No way me and my bad memory wanted to wait until NOVEMBER! Blech!!!

Thats what I think when I see it!

I still think he's TOO oblivious to their odd stares. Does anyone remeber the epi that cap is from so I can try to figure out what Shep and Ford are so engrossed by?

Hmmmm....it has to be one of the later eps because he is not wearing his tan suit, but the dark blue one. Which he looks mighty handsome in I must say!

Yea. That tan thing made him not only stand out, but made him look a bit pudgy.

Like, bad pudgy mind you. I like the blue on him MUCH better. I REALLY like just the shirt, because we get ARM PORN!!!

I'll agree w/you there! Mckay is much more suited to blue. Also love the little blue shirt w/ zippy front. You know, I was never into arm porn before this thread....it's really just mckay arm/hand porn though. And a little bit carson too.

I think shep is too skinny for me-I need a little more bulk. Now mckay definately has something to grab onto!
