We are friends until it comes to John/Joe. But, you're right, Elizabeth and Mrs. Joe come first. *iz sad* Nothing wrong with a little fantasy though.

See, this is why we need real clones. Then everybody's happy.

So, it's Wednesday and we haven't really discussed Underground. How do we feel about the Sparky interactions in this one? I love the way he showed so much respect for her and waited for her to make the final decision. Ford looked like he was in the principal's office, but John looked like Mr. SR when he patiently explains why we have to do something a certain way and waits for me to see the logic in his argument and agree, which he knew I would do. They are so married.

But seriously, even in those early days, they had a mental connection and seemed to know each other beyond what was expected considering the length of time they had worked together. She was beginning to see his side of things and he was beginning to want to slow down and see hers. The writers saw that it wasn't possible to have them keep going over the same territory and arguing all the time, so they began to have them working as a team. One of their few smart decisions.

We play with the shippy parts, sometimes even when we have no basis in fact, but I don't think anyone can argue with the fact that they were getting closer. Or maybe they can. LOL

I agree that John and Elizabeth were getting more "in tune" with each other. Quite a bit of time has passed since they arrived in Atlantis (it would have to have if they've run down their supplies so much that they're worried about rationing food!), so everyone's had some time to get to know each other better. Still, while there have been some serious moments they've had to deal with, we haven't yet seen them go through a real trial by fire. That (as we are about to see) will be the true test of their working and personal relationships. Of course, we've got a couple of those coming up fairly soon. Muahahahah.

Donkey Kong....That reminds me of the dream I recently had where it was an SGA parody of King Kong John was Jack Driscoll, Elizabeth was Anne Darrow.....and the nagging little side of me that ships Kolya with Elizabeth made the big Genii brute King Kong.

I will never ever watch that movie the same way again.

On ff.net? Yeah, have one that I haven't used in a long time, I used to write a bit when I was younger though I don't think it was any good, I guess you could say that I had the imagination to create things but not the writing skills to be able to put anything good out there, kind of sad really. I haven't written anything for stargate though, wrote mostly for SW and then I was mostly writting on board.theforce.net. Any special reason you asked, do you have an account and some stories there? Yes I do and yes I have an SGA fic in the works. It's titled "The World Goes On". I was wondering if you could go and read it and tell me what you think of it. It's Sparky, almost seven years after the beginning of SGA season 4, when Liz goes MIA. It's also rated M (paranoia at the moment), and the genres are Action-Adventure/Family. I'm known as NCIS She-Demon over there.

Hey, quick question (and if I've asked before, forgive me, little brain dead at the moment): did John go to college? I remember in "Outcast" that John made a comment about his dad's idea of rebellion was going to Stanford instead of Harvard, and while his intelligence could've gotten him in anywhere, I was trying to remember if it was ever specifically confirmed onscreen ...

Also, do we know where Lizzeh went to college?
