I actually find that idea quite interesting.

Look at Kirk/Spock. .it is so obvious they had something going on.

I loved Kirk/Spock and I am not a slasher!!

I loved the profoundity in their relationship and the deep love they had for each other, although I did not see it in a sexual sense AT ALL. That isn't my bag. Someway I loved the Shawshank Redemption, the relationship there just moved me to tears. If they could create that in Sheppard/McKay, that would be something... no sex tho... I'm something-or-other...

I'm just watching 'Before I sleep'. it's nicely shippy, isn't it?

i liked the opening sequence, with john giving her the present..it was sweet and touching.

john seemed a bit distubed to find the old lady was elizabeth

and in the 'different flashbacks' the connection between john and elizabeth seems a lot more intense

oh god, rodney died!

oh, she called him john!!! and he seems very worried when old elizabeth gets ill. this is so sweet. and it's great the way he tries to comfort young elizabeth

oh, and john's sleeping by her bed! okay, so is rodney, but john's closer.

and then he comes to get her at the end, on their own private balcony

I liked that episode a lot. Moved me to tears at times. Very good acting from everyone, and not only shippy, but overall "friendshippy" as well.
