It has never really driven us crazy that they were supposedly trying to make us guess who Shep would end up with. Most of us never saw the least bit of romantic chemistry between Shep and Teyla. We know the writers try to make us believe it, but even if they get married and live in a tent on New Athos, we still won't see it. *apologizes for speaking for everyone*

I agree with this. They just don't click together. Ship is in the eye of the beholder I guess, but I honestly do not see a romantic chemistry between them. Some actors have it and some don't. For example: I thought Nicole Kidman and Jude Law had fantastic onscreen chemistry in Cold Mountain, and then there were Ioan Gruffudd and Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four 2 that absolutely made me cringe, there was no chemistry there at all.

Vixen you're so right with the chemestry thing. i admitt, shep and teyla look cute together from the optical thing, but liz suits ways better to him. dont know why. maybe because she's a bit older.. more.. a real female i dont wanna say teyla is chidish, but i think she's too yough for him
TH and JF act brilliant with each other on telly and thats what is making me so strongly believe that they do have a chance to learn each other to love
and no matter what happens in the series .. how did john say? 'i will find her' i'm sure he will .. and he will try his best to bring her back

So I was looking through screen caps this morning, and I noticed something. Just standing next to each other J & E mirror each other. I mean it's very obvious, not subtle. I know this observation is not new per se, but I was amazed at how often this happened.

As for the poll - well just because you put it on a poll doesn't make it real. If it doesn't come across on screen - no amount of force feeding will ever make it true. Isn't it funny how they have to do that, to get support for the other ship? What? You want sparky? That's not right -- *squish you*. ^-^

Sparky are confidants, friends & sounding board to each other, if you ask me, that's what a couple should be. Having great sexual chemistry on screen doesn't hurt it either.
