I hate myself because I'm so realistic, but I doubt it's any of the main cast unless in AU or flashback. Rodney/Katie would be lovely. I don't know why some people think she's dull. My money is on something out of left field that noone thinks of involving a minor character or the battle idea that comes from the word engagement being in the script. The one thing it will not be is Sparky. Sorry.

And didn't they say the fans would love Sunday? There ya go.

why on earth would he be talking about Sam and Jack? It's atlantis not SG-1, it maybe is SG-1: Atlantis but still. I also think it's McKay and Katie, I don't care for that but I believe it is because they like to make Rodney happy. I wish it would be Spanky because it can't be Sparky.

You know when I read that I was on such a defensive mode, my first thoughts were "he's toying with us again". I don't know about this guy at all. I wonder if sometimes he really does have good intentions, and it backfires.

The most likely scenario in my head would be:

AU of any pair - take your pick. If he wants to really mess w/ us sparkies, yes, I can see a John/Elizabeth engagement.
Or the second scenario would be the exwife & John one. I highly doubt in a show like SGA we will get an actual proposal/marriage. Look at how Sam/Pete thing was handled. Honestly, even if it was a real engagement, I don't want them to handle it.

Add to that that it was raining like crazy and the rage quietly building up inside him. Although it was a nice trick - even if some tears did creep up in that moment when the anger was taking over, you had the rain mask it nicely.

I love the scene where in the rain, he grits his teeth and blows out a breath. You can just see the anger roll off him. If he had squeezed the radio any harder, it would've snapped in two.
