I have noticed that TPTB seem to be putting Teyla and Ford in the same scenes/standing next to each other, etc. Might be something brewing in the writing world. Actually I find a Ford/Teyla pairing much more believable than Sheppard/Teyla.

I'm not heavy into "ship" but I am having fun checking out the Weir/Sheppard items.

Weir booted out? What's the ace she has up her sleeve (go Lizzie!). Everett looks like a jerk. What was Hammond thinking? and why was it Hammond and not Jack? Has Jack retired one wonders or is Hammond in charge of anything to do with Stargates? Will Everett tell Shep to get his hair cut? what happened to the weapons platform after it's mentioned at the beginning? how does Weir get to be back in charge or isn't she? I find Ford/Teyla quite believable, although I think McKay/Teyla would also be interesting.

I think McKay has an unrequited crush on Elizabeth..i think that'd be quite angsty and interesting, and a good counterpoint to the Shep/Elizabeth thing...you know..two men love her, but only one will get her, and it won't be Rodney, and he'll be all angsty and torn up about it under the surface, but will maintain a stoic facade, while John forges ahead bravely and wins here..

BTW..there's no regs keeping John and Elizabeth apart, is there?

Not sure about the regs issue, they wouldn't get courtmartialled for it, but it's probably not very professional. One of the things that concerns me about season 2 is

if they're in contact with Earth more, then Earth rules apply and puts a stop to any relationships happening in unusual circumstances

which is probably good from an angsty, keep it subtle point of view

Hammond is giving the order and not Jack because Jack is not in command of the Atlantis expedition, Hammond is. Jack is only in charge of the SGC, Hammond is in charge of everything off world related.

That's when I started thinking Ford/Teyla. They make such a cute couple!

Shep/Weir are much closer from an intellectual standpoint.

Now as for McKay. .he is his own critter. He would be perfect as a bobblehead doll (I just love him to death).
