Caldwell may not be a 'shipper' but he sure as hell KNOWS the score between Elizabeth and John doesn't he? Heh. It sounds terrific! You must have forgotten to post the line about 'not speaking of the kiss again'. LOL! I love that they don't specifically address 'that moment' but that it's there...dangling...in the air between them...I also love how Elizabeth reminds everyone *ahem the audience* how she was aware of everything going on the entire time. Very important to remember in this episode. I love caldwell's little teaser to them as he leaves. Their mutual 'look' on that parting line should be wonderful. This is almost the opposite of the John bedside scene in 38 mins. I love that scene! This one sounds terrific with Elizabeth whumping!
