"Infection" was both a blessing (Todd again at long last!) and a torture. Now it's official, I hate Sheppard.
Spoiler:
True, he redeems himself somewhat at the very end by letting Todd go, but how DARES he play all morally superior about the Daedalus?! If someone has to take the blame, it should be Ronon because he's the one who put Todd in this situation in the first place! As for Sheppard, he was eager to blow Todd's hive in "The Seer" and certainly didn't shed a tear when the two hives destroyed each other; now, he is willing to abandon the sick wraith to their fate, then he only revives Todd to help him because humans are in danger but with no intention to cure him or his crew, and he decided the murder in cold blood of all wraith in stasis! True, it's likely they would all have died anyway when the hive was cut in half, but it doesn't change Sheppard's decision. And while warriors outnumbers faced wraith in a hive, they must have been others than Todd on board.
Chris said in that interview that they respect each other, right?
Then I wonder if the writers know this, because Sheppard is giving Todd 0 respect, at times, but when it's time to fix things, he runs to him again. Pfft.
Thinking about Todd and "Infection" again (yeah, I have been a bit traumatised),
Spoiler:
I really didn't like Todd's nice smile to Sheppard at the end. I mean, of course he was cute, and the scene would have been absolutely awesome in other circumstances, but considering how Sheppard had just behaved for the past 30 minutes, I hated to see Todd lick his butt like that.
I must be somewhat of a wraith myself because I believe in the whole "show no weakness" thing. Admittedly, I don't consider compassion a weakness (I'm beginning to grow really fond of Keller for her behaviour towards Todd), nor forgiveness, and certainly not courage. I loved that Todd saved them all while he had so little to gain from it. What I hated, however, was that he seemed to consider he owed Sheppard something at the end. Sheppard did nothing but keep his word, and that, only after once again being proved less a good guy than Todd. Nothing that deserves much consideration in my eye, really. It's just the very least Sheppard could do after what had happened.
Yes, I'm angry at Sheppard, and while Todd has not all information in his hands, I still want to puke when I see him behaving like Sheppard's dog.

Me needs chocolate. A lot of chocolate.
I agree completely, you sound as upset about it all as I was. The first time I watched it, I had a mountain of tissues next to me by the end. As I watch again and again, I still shed a tear or two. Maybe this might cheer you up? Picture this at the end of the episode
Spoiler:
when Todd's showing off his amazing pilot's skills and telepathically communicatiing with the ship:
I posted this on the Wraith Defenders Club thread:
Don't you just wish you could be there (as a wraith at the time of course), so you could wrap your arms around his waist, rest your head against his back and use your mind to help him. In your head he'd say "you take the left thrusters and I'll get the right". It'd be so hard to concentrate because you can hear his heart beating and feel every breath that he takes, not to mention the smell of leather (Oh my....major time in the gutter for me guys...sorry)

......*surfaces from her daydream* DAMN YOUZ! *fangasms*
Hi guys...
Please excuse my lo-tech skills, I'm new to this forum stuff, but am willing to learn! I just had to register cos I am sooooo in love with Todd!!! Yeah, yeah, I know, join the queue...
I'm in Scotland and sounds like I'm a bit behind on the SGA eps but I've enjoyed reading all your comments anyway and thought I should graduate from lurking!
I have to say that I'm no Sheppard fan because of the way he treats Todd. I'm sure I'm not alone in that!
In fact I started watching SGA with that ep where they killed Steve Wraith (also extremely hot!) and was quite shocked! Wasn't that against the Geneva Convention?!?
Well, just wanted to introduce myself and declare my love for Todd!

Welcome here and in the Wraith Defenders Club Todd's Pet! Yes, we'll fight fiercely for Todd, because there are so many of us who badly want him.
The episode where Steve dies is "Poisoning the Well", and yeah, it's clearly against the Geneva Convention. Sheppard (who's surprised here? ) retorts that it doesn't matter, because the wraith would have considered the Geneva Convention a giant banquet anyway. You say you are somewhat behind with the episodes so I warn you, when you watch the most recent one, "Infection", you'll hate Sheppard even more than before.

Thanks for your welcome! I feel at home already!
Yeah, I get to see Infection on Sky this Sunday and I'm preparing myself for a major Sheppard hating fest! Grrr!
