Y'll be fine, Lass. I wouldn'a worry y'self over it. Just don't make a habit of double dosing too often and y'll be fine.

He's got a point, what's a normal dose for you might only be half a dose for someone with more severe pain. I agree, I don't think a double dose is going to have any bad effect, maybe make you a wee bit silly for a bit depending on exactly what it was you took but nothing more...

Well Aang certainly has faith in ma' skills as a doctor. 'M glad she trusts me so much, only hope I keep livin' up to her expectations.

Carson, you have beaten the odds in so many of the Pegasus illnesses, a simple thing like back pain shouldn't be hard for you to treat by now. *smiles*

Aye Love, that's true. This may be the easiest thing I've had ta treat in goin' on...a lot of years now.

As my dad says to me sometimes, either it makes the pain go away or it makes you just not care anymore

But if the pain goes away, you won't care!

          I like your Dad!

But to the "simple thing like back pain" I'll tell you about simple, right after I get back from crawling to the loo!

...Oh I know it hurts. Believe me, I've been the all-purpose nursemaid for my Dad when his gets really bad. I've learned how to make a damn good cup of coffee thanks to being the one to make it when he couldn't get to the kitchen properly. It's been a near constant pain (pun intended) in my butt since I was really little. Goodness, I was maybe 6 or 7 the first time I remember noticing him complain about it...but really compared to what Carson spends his work days diagnosing and patching up...I think to him, back pain might be a wee bit simpler to work on!!

Well, pains not gone, and I still care!
Crawling is not good cuz I can't get back up!
used an office chair as a walker, not to bad except it doesn't want to go straight.
Could have done with a coffee maker, or at the very least, a coffee carrier!

Why didn't you use one of your kids as a coffee carrier?

Well I s'pose that's all the more proof the double dose of meds isn't going to have a negative effect, but it's a wee bit concerning that it didna' have any effect at all...*thinking very hard about something*

Well you know, except for the wee detail of us being half a world apart here, I'd be glad to make you coffee. But there is that matter of NZ is a fair walk from the USA (with some swimming)...Also Google Maps cannot calculate the directions from the USA to NZ...I am now very concerned.

It's like 11am on a Monday in NZ, I think perhaps her kids are both at school and DH is at work...she's likely on her own...

Whoops. I still think it was a good idea in theory....

Of course, using the kids as go-fers is always a good idea. Or my Dad thinks so anyhow.

My mom thinks that as well. She says that it's one of the reasons people have kids, so that they can schelpp for them! I don't know whether she's joking or not...

Aang doesn't like math and it doesn't like her...so we'll just ignore the fact that I totally botched up the time zones.

The only reason I can make coffee is because my dad talked me through the process to do it for him...I don't drink the stuff...so I guess being dad's go-fer did teach me something useful

Maths is not a high point with me...but I can count up to 6 on my fingers!, you just forgot the minutes....which were about 53!
Knowing how to make coffee is very useful!
