Well, I agree that up to Trio, our shippy moments are 'friendshippy' and not 'relationshippy' but I think nobody considered them to be more when we made the list. Those moments for me just as important as the later ones because you need some kind of positive interaction before developing the other kind. Just imagine how out of the blue Trio or Seed would have seemed without the previous existing relationship between the two characters. Oh wait, one example just come to me, Quarantine R/K almost kiss, anyone? All right, I'm being unfair, shouldn't rub that into things now, considering our new converted friend here.

Oh, I totally agree that those moments were a really important foundation. It's why McKeller wasn't "what the heck??" when it happened. I was mostly just disputing there being no sign of anything beyond friendship before "The Seed."
