Nope, don't think I'm that closely related to him.

If we start a thread, what do you bet someone would slam us for being biased? Not that they aren't.

Oh well. I'm not planning to do a thesis on why the Wraith aren't evil today.

which is why one agrues in third person... it makes the arguement much more impersonal... no one has ever called my opinions biased and are never really sure what side i'm actually on b/c i will argue the strong and weak points of both sides in the third person

and i don't know why, but the Sateda Master just gives off this aura of old, cranky uncle besides, i call a lot of men i'm not related to Uncle...

I won't volunteer tonight.

And I'll argue the points as well. Had to argue against adult stem cell research once, and the only resource given was one extremely biased towards it. Apparently, I still won.

Ok-I promised over on the "Would you like the Wraith back as main villains" thread that I'd try to do something about the double posting about our petition that happened there, to prevent such from happening in the future.

First, I doubt anyone objects to us putting the petition in our signature. It gets exposure, it's not offensively blatant, and it seems to be what most of the other campaigns are using. I'm voting we use this as the main method of promotion.

Second, there may be some threads that would like to be specially informed of such things. I'm guessing the All-Wraith thunk thread would be one. In such cases, one member should probably be chosen to announce it, to avoid duplicate posts.

Third, if it's a thread we're already contributing too, they haven't asked to be specially informed, and the petition is in our signature, I don't see the need for a special announcement.

But those are just my ideas, and I certainly can't force them on you. But I would like something to prevent such incidents in the future.

Good idea This will help not to double post the link. Although I found some of the complains too...overrestimated. They like the link for ANYONE other petition but not if the petition is for the Wraith.

Thank you! A calendar would be cool, though it probably would freak most people out. The queen from Allies freaks out most people I know just from a picture, and she looks closer to human than most of them.

Why is it that we value something based on how close to humanity it is?

Nice! FanFiction.net has some good Wraith fic as well. If I ever get mine done I'll post it on there.

And the Wraith: Evil or just Misunderstood thread is heating up. Someone accused me of having a double standard because I opposed genocide while saying that I would shoot someone who attacked my family. And it looks like they merged an earlier thread in their too. Ouroboros had some great stuff in there, but then I find myself feeling like I have 'the cranial capacity of an artichoke' after reading some of it.

I've read few of the stories in FanFiction.net and found some of them very interesting but this one in the link is levels above the usual Wraith' fiction.
Please, when you wrote a story post it here. We all will be very happy to read it

I also saw that the thread posted from Lilith is united with an old thread. I don't understand why. I gave up reading the messages about what evil monsters are the Wraith. And in one other thread while I was defending that Hathor is not a rapist - this was my personal opinion - a group of people tried to convince me I am thinking wrong. When I said that "woman to rape a man" sounds to me like an oxymoron they said that I obviously don't understand what I am reading and writing because English is not my first language and have to return my dictionary and to want the money back. Sweet, isn't it? So don't bother with what someone said or wrote. Most important is what YOU think.
