And according to Joseph Mallozzi she was considered for the position of Civilian Commander on Atlantis for a hot second before they settled on Robert Picardo. Can you imagine Col. Sheppard taking orders from his ex?

Atlantis Rising: The Virtual Series uses her in a similar extent, and the authors made it quite interesting. I liked her, but I'm glad Woolsey took over instead. Still, I would have liked it if she appeared on the series again. An episode featuring her could have easily replaced one of the less interesting episodes of season 5. Sorry if anyone liked season 5 just as it was.Originally posted by Mirrored Illusions

Yes, she really did fill an important role there. I didn't understand why they didn't think a psychologist was needed after she was gone. Seasons 4 and 5 were arguably more distressing than the first 3.
