Dr.Carson Beckett / Lt. Laura Cadman Ship/Discussion/Appreciation

Do custom action figures count? I always thought that as Lt Cadman Jame Ray Newman should have been a recurring character. Esp with the chemistry she had with Mr McGillion.

Hello all,

You may or may not no that DST / AA has ground to a halt on their Stargate action figures. Theyt haven't said yes or no, but at present, there is no guarantee that there will be an action figure of Dr Beckett.

A few of us have decided we want to take matters into our own hands if we can. (Special thanks to Mooncat for this). We are trying to get at least 15 people to commit to the commisioned manufacture of the heads of Dr Beckett and McKay in a 1/6 scale. (I am for Dr Beckett!) full details of this activity can be found in the following thread:

We saw very little between these two so whichever way you want to write it, go for it.

This is about seven years after they'd broken things off the first time. At first things are going to be a little awkward. Wouldn't it be. Things lately have been going to hell for Laura: major family deaths and coming out of a relationship that wasn't what it appeared to be (the guy was cheating on her. STUPID man!). You might need to take a look at my Sparky story on fanfiction.

I'll put it as clearly as I can. Elizabeth needs rescuing. There are very few ways to get into where she is, and Cadman can go through one of them w/o attracting attention and put a locator beacon on Elizabeth. She also has one for herself.

If the Beckett-spark is still alive than yeah the start might be a bit awkard. She's got all that baggage now, and he's a clone so there's definitely room for much awkwardness. But I think they'd easily find their footing.
